SOLUTION 1
So you have to go to the BIOS check which one is the Primary.
Do some trick:
Open the case:
1.)Plug the New SATA cable to the new slot available on Motherborad.
2.)Remove the Old SATA Cable from the OLD Hard Disk side only.
3.)Connect the OLD Hard disk to new SATA cable and New hard disk to Old SATA Cable.
SOLUTION 2
In your BIOS setting set your old HDD as "Boot from", Primary Source.
you can find this option in boot section of your bios.
SOLUTION 3
power on your system then hold f3key until you see booting options .
Then select your old hard disk in the menu and press enter , Boot menu button may be F2, F3, or ESC depending upon your PC configuration.
SOLUTION 4
Solution one Remove your old hard disk keep your new hard disk,
Then install windows operating system from cd and complete it
After windows installed reconnect your old hdd and restart, then you can configure both the hard disks from control panel options,
